Deer seasons far from over in Ohio

Ohio’s white-tailed deer expert Mike Tonkovich of the Division of Wildlife has advice for Ohio’s deer hunters.

Don’t give up. And even if you have tagged a deer, more are waiting.

“The deer seasons have a long way to go. The fat lady has not sung yet,” said Tonkovich, with a laugh. “There are still plenty of opportunities around Ohio.”

The popular Ohio deer gun season winds down a week of hunting on Sunday, but the calendar has lots of deer hunting days on it.
